Tecnosexuales

En primer lugar, la única relación que encuentro entre "tecno" y "sexual" es que cada nuevo avance en la tecnología tiene por objetivo difundir porno (vhs, dvd, broadband, P2P).

Un hombre que se arregle mucho o uno que use muchos gadgets no es sexy por que se arregle o por los gadgets. Es sexy por que tiene dinero para arreglarse o para los gadgets. Esa es la diferencia entre "el típico informático" y el "tecnosexual"

Cualquier FArtículo que se refiera a Bill Gates como "genio de la programación" es tan objetivo como aquellos que dicen "En un estudio realizado por una firma independidente financiado por Microsoft, bla bla blah... a la larga Windows es más barato que Linux".

From TFA: "Se trata de un hombre deportista preocupado por su alimentación y su cuerpo. ...Prefiere emplear todo el tiempo en explorar su laptop..." Cómo puede ser deportista si se la pasa explorando su laptop?

Metrosexual, Tecnosexual... Desde cuándo follar trenes y traer más gadgets que Batman en su cinturón es más importante que el tamaño de mi pene.

Alguien dígame por favor desde cuándo la ignorancia es un punto de vista!!!

Ya jaló

Pues el primer punto de lo que me proponía y de lo que hablaba en la conversación del post anterior ya quedó.
Ya puedo revisar mi mail por RSS.


La fabulosa característica de gmail de revisar el mail por RSS ahora disponible para cualquier correo POP3 o IMAP.

En cuanto resuelva algunas dudas existenciales del diseño y lo empaquete con documentación "fancy", será open source como le decía a elote.

Me siento mal

Estoy enfermo. No se qué me dió.
Me duele todo el cuerpo como cuando uno anda agripado. Especialmente las articulaciones. Tengo un dolor de cabeza que no me deja pensar y asco.

Jennifer dice que puede ser una infección del estómago. Todo mundo me da un diagnóstico diferente.

Tengo hambre, pero no ganas de comer. Lo único que puedo comer es galletas de las Habaneras Integrales que saben a Matsot. Siento Sinestesia (la música "duele").

¿Qué software debe tener una computadora?

Creo que todos nosotros todos los días tenemos contactos con muchas computadoras de cualquier tipo. Existen muchos tipos de computadoras, de todos tamaños y formas. Pero bueno, si hablamos de computadoras personales (de propósito general que tienen al usuario humano enfrente),independientemente de la plataforma de hardware o sistema operativo que utilicen, qué es lo mínimo que debe tener una computadora personal para ser usable.

He elaborado una pequeña lista de las características de software que pienso que son necesarias. Por favor comenten y sugieran más características. Qué es indispensable, necesario, útil, etc.

  • Protocolo TCP/IP
  • Web Browser
  • Mensajería Instantánea
  • Reproductor multimedia (mp3, mpg, avi)
  • Manejo de Documentos (txt, pdf, xls, doc, ppt)
  • Respaldo y sincronización de archivos
  • Compresor, descompresor

Otro día otros $500

Pues bien, hoy hubo más acción en el trabajo. Aunque oficialmente a mí no me han asignado nada. Estos días (o sea hoy) he estado ayudando a Víctor en lo que él tiene asignado. Su trabajo es horrible. Revisar, corregir y en general mantener código de otras personas.


Por regla general el código es ilegible y heterogéneo. Aún dentro de una misma aplicación. Hay casos incluso en que la autentificación se hace en ASP y la aplicación en JSP (sobre Oracle).

Como primera tarea tal vez mañana comience a documentar. O tal vez comience a ver qué onda con algo llamado Centura. O tal vez empiece a programar, o quién sabe. Mientras me paguen por días hábiles y por presentarme de 8

Espero que mañana ya puedan agregar a mi baby en el dominio para poder tener internet desde allá. Por lo mientras la misión de esta noche será fusionar mi lap con otra dell de aquí (que le sirve bien el HD, la pantalla y la batería, pero tiene quemada la tarjeta madre). A ver qué queda. Sómo me hace falta una tarjeta de red interna (la mía la tiene el gandalla de mi hermano se quedó con la mía).

Anyway... mañana será otro día.. si no me ven conectado esta noche es que no resultó el asunto de la dell hibrida.
